Time consumes everyone. We know the week, most of us know what day today is. There is a clock on your phone, on your wrist. You probably follow a schedule as well. You keep track of your weeks and plan ahead, you plan the date, the time. You follow a calendar.
What we forget is that we are surrounded by the absence of time keeping. The ducks in the lake don't follow a schedule or check the time, birthdays are forgotten, everything is in the moment. The fox in my garden doesn't fret over missed appointments or plans for the weekend. He just is.
We measure everything, time. It is because of this that people have a tendency to fall into a routine of time and forget what matters around us. We suffer with fear like no other creature on this planet. All of this because of time.
A paralysing fear of time running out.
